Good Morning and, well, it won't be said today!
So, the Oscar nominations came out yesterday and once again, I've only seen one of the movies (Toy Story 3). While it was a good movie, I don't know if it's 'Best Picture' worthy, but some years finding 10 nominees stretches the envelope a bit.
Then again, it's probably as much about politics as everything else has become in this day and age. Know the right people, your movie gets a push. Go outside the box and you have to buy your own ticket to the show.
Hey, whatever works. It's Hollywood. It's not like real life.
So, now that the nominees are out, the big push starts. Try to get out and see the top nominated movies before the Feb. 27 show.
Anybody game for a movie run? I always wanted to try one of those movie marathons where they show all the nominees in one day.
That might be a little too tough, but you never know.
By the way, with all the talk about snubs and nominees, here's one that was overlooked and should get a statue just because it's so good:
Good Morning everbody. Check here for your wake up call every day. We will have updated traffic, weather and few fun things to get you through the morning.

RISE AND SHINE
GOOD MORNING, DELAWARE COUNTY!
Why is it the one thing you can never put in reserve is sleep?
You can make enough food to carry through a week. Put some in the freezer and it can last much longer.
You can get extra work done one day and take it a little easier the next (although for some, you can do no work today, no work tomorrow, no work the next day, then complain you're much too busy).
The chance for sleep, though, is here and gone.
If you for some reason have a restless night (be it nightmares of a George Bush presidency or whatever), the chance to 'catch up' is gone.
It's not like you can sleep later on say a Sunday, then stay up late Tuesday and be fine.
No, you might feel refreshed Sunday, but by Monday that's all gone.
A late night Tuesday then ruins the rest of the week.
Those zombies in every horror movie now aren't really the undead, they are just sleep-deprived people wandering the streets looking for a pillow.
