RISE AND SHINE

GOOD MORNING, DELAWARE COUNTY!
Since John McCain is probably checking in this morning, a word from the wise: when at Springfield Country Club, stay away from the chicken! Don't say I didn't warn you.

Well, enough politics, there's more important things going on.
For instance, remember when you could pull into a gas station, pay 10 bucks and fill the tank.
Now, I put 10 into the minivan and it barely gets me to the next gas station.
Yeah, Yeah, prices are out of whack all over the place, but gas prices are especially so.
Look, those big companies are going to make money whether the price is $3.50 a gallon or $2.50 a gallon.
After taking a ride through Lancaster last weekend, I came to the realization the Amish have it right. Forget the gas-guzzler in the driveway, get a horse and buggy.
Not only would it be better on the pocket book and the environment, but the horse will be a big hit with the children.
Every child at some point or another asks their parents for a pony. Now, there can be one pulling you to the Giant to pick up milk.
You know what, if we all did that, Exxon/Mobil would find a way to corner the market on hay and jack the price up accordingly.
Still, it would be interesting:
